Of course, women have more power now than ever before. I mean, they’ve always had some power, but now they want equality. Well, let them have it, but they can’t be equal and at the same time expect to get special treatment by men who feel that women need to be protected and told that they are loved all the time. Young girls are untouchable. It is understandable that young lads want to mess about , but is is not so acceptible for girls to mess about. So when girls now ‘act-up’ and mess about we are shocked by it. Why are we surprised by this? Don’t we want people to be equal?

Women are not equal to men and vice-a-versa. We treat young girls different to young boys. Why?! The rise in girl gangs (and that there are girl gangs at all) shock us because ‘girls are meant to be sugar and spice…” ; when young girls fly in the face of this assumption we are shocked by it.

Hi. I am apart of a Christian ministry call “Loud Whiperz” and tomorrow we are showing a play call “The Postcode War”. Our play has generated a lot of interest because of the youth killings going on recently. The play identifies the effects these killings have on families, the environment and the society we live in today. i still maintain that kids growing up in a culture that glorifies warfare and the use of weaponry to carve some ‘turf’ (foreign lands) for themselves by use of armed soldiers, gets what it deserves. withdraw troops engaged in conflict with other lands and teach the next generation how to be proactive, and violent incidents will decrease.

The alternatives that we as older people in society does not give these young people confidence. Yes we had to struggle when we were growing up, but these young people are growing in a more stressful time and are more angry as a result. The stressess of life for an adult has taken their attention off their duties as perents and gaurdians. A lot of young people not only feel let down by their peopl but rejected by society from even in schools to a level nthat they feel they are wasting their time in trying to make an impact in a society that has already rejected them.
We have a lot of work to do and to be heard we have to stand together and i agree with a lot of what you have said in your statement. No real attemot by the government to address issues other than tougher laws which will push our YP further into the abyss but media amplifying the issue and instilling that fear into the older members of society was are so caught up in their own lives that the have not taken the time to realise that we may have been a cause to this problem

I totally agree with you Tom, I am hopeing that more people are starting to realise what you and I understand, but unfortunatly there are still some people continuing with the same old mantra. There are still people who will say we dont want to end up like America. Now Im not saying that I would like this country to end up like America, I would like Britain to be like Britain before 1920 when this country was one of the most peaceful countries in the world because the law abiding had guns and would use them to help the police keep the peace. But people will have a choice to make soon, because of all the crime and terrorism the government are trying to bring in ID cards and a database and giving the police more draconian powers and in my opinion they are turning this country into another North Korea. So the people will have to decide, Do they want this country to be more like America or more like North Korea?

I think the police should but more policeman back on the beat, do away with half of the high speed killer drivers.,and then carry scanners to be able to catch the thugs who are carrying knives, and there is to be no discrimination against everyone.

kids have to face violence on the streets every day from the age of 5 to 20+, it starts at school then continues on the streets, online etc there is no escape for some especially boys. Communities have broken down there is no structure anymore and the only solution offered when a child misbehaves is the police,detention centre, social services THESE SYSTEMS DO NOT WORK and if your child reaches sixteen and is still disruptive and hits back at you the social turn their back on you they all say call the police. This is not an answer it is a cop out and the government needs to give more families the REAL support they need BETTER LATE THAN NEVER. Especially when your begging them for help and willing to do what is necessary. There is nothing greater than a true mothers love this needs to be supported. VOTES, OIL, IRAQ, CARS, TRAFFIC, CONGESTION CHARGE. what level of importance do the children of our future carry??????

It is rediculous to think that by banning guns we will reduce gun crime, it does not take guns off the streets as the guns owned by law abiding citizens are kept safely away in gun cabinets. The guns on the “streets” are not legally owned. It is rediculous to think that a criminal who by definition is someone who breaks the law will follow new laws put in place. The sort of person who wants to blow someones head of is not going to stop and not obtain a gun becuase its illegal.

HELLO PEOPLE THE GOVERNMENT CAN LOCK YOU UP FOR 42 DAYS WITH NO CHARGE AND THEY ARE TAKING OUR ABILITY TO RESIST BY TAKING OUR GUNS, ALSO NOT THE FACT THAT THERE IS A CCTV CAMERA FOR EVERY 14 PEOPLE IN THE UK. ALSO OVER £50′000 WAS SPENT ON UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLES BY ONE COUNTY THIS YEAR. THOSE ARE SPYING VEHICLES!!!! THEY CAN WATCH YOU, LOCK YOU UP WITH NO CHARGE!!
