Taking It To The Streets

Channel 4 is taking the issue of street weapons to the streets.

Over in our Bebo profile, we will be running a series of ‘TXTual Healing‘ events in a bid to find out how people really feel about street weapons. New York artist Paul Notzold will be creating two evening events that will see art and controversial questions projected on to urban spaces. The general public will be invited to respond via text messages which will then appear within the projections.

One of the questions we will be exploring is “Why do people carry street weapons?”

If you have a view on this then why not let us know in the comments section on the Bebo page. Your message may be used at the event to represent how the Bebo community feel about the worrying issue of street weapons.

The two London based events will be running in Brick Lane (next to Big Chill) on Thursday 26th June and Shepherd’s Bush Pavillion, Friday 27th June between 9pm and 11pm.
